We collect

Booked around you, from one site or several. Free where there is enough reusable equipment in the load to cover the cost of the job.

We destroy the data

Drives are erased to current NCSC guidance. Anything that cannot be erased is physically destroyed at our own site rather than sent elsewhere.

Will I get money back for my old kit?

Possibly. It depends entirely on what you have and what condition it is in. Where equipment still holds genuine resale value, we can look at a rebate rather than simply recycling it, but that is a different service to a standard collection, so it is a conversation rather than a box you tick.

What happens to the data on our old computers?
Every drive is erased to current NCSC guidance. You receive a Certificate of Data Destruction within 28 working days of collection, along with a data wiping report that lists each drive and the wiping method used on it.
How much does IT disposal cost?
Collection is free when there is enough reusable value in the load to cover the cost of doing the job. Where there is more than enough, you may get money back. Where there is not, we tell you what it would cost and agree it with you before anything is booked.
How quickly can you collect?
Often within days of your enquiry. Larger or multi-site projects need longer, because the logistics take planning. Tell us what you have and where it is, and we will give you a date.
Can you collect from more than one site?
Yes. We will work out a viable approach with you, which can include keeping each site's devices separate through the process so your reporting stays accurate site by site. Two of the case studies above are exactly that kind of job.
What happens to equipment that still works?
It is tested and refurbished rather than shredded, then sold or donated to new owners across the UK. That is the point of the process rather than a by-product of it, and it is what makes free collection possible.
